We would like to say a big THANK YOU to each and everyone of you who have shown your kindness and support and made a donation. In this difficult time we knew it would be hard to arrange flowers and thought a donation to the Sandra Chapman cancer department where dad and Marge spent a lot of time would be a lovely gesture. We know that dad would really appreciate your kind donation because he always enjoyed his appointments there because he was looked after but more so, because he got a free lunch!! I didn’t know Ronald personally however, his family is beautiful. He’s always going to be proud of everyone single one of them because they’re all individually lovely. I got the privilege to care for him whilst he had his last stay at the James paget and I can honestly stay he’s got a heart of gold and spirit of fire! I’m so sorry to hear he’s gone but I’m sure he’ll never be forgotten. Love to all family x

Dad you will be missed a lot by us, over the last ten years we built a close relationship and you got to know your grandchildren and great grandchildren, the Sunday dinners at our cafe and then at our house with Marge, the support you gave us when we lost our son James, you will always be remembered (Shadow) Michael, Sandy and family xxx

The hurt is far greater than I ever imagined and I can’t believe you are gone 💔. You hung on right to the end, battling with your body as it was shutting down but your mind was not ready to go.
